Mmmm, curious, all these vin numbers seem to be entirely numeric, mine has letters in it, the last 7 digits are EG23289, I wonder why it's a different format?

You can ring up / visit your own dealer for this info anytime! they usually print it off for you straight away for no charge... poor gasgas will spend all day processing this lot!

YEAH IF YOU RING YOUR DEALER THEY SHOULD BE ABLE TO TELL YOU, HOWEVER ONCE IT HAS LEFT THE NETWORK OBVIOUSLY ITS NO LONGER RECORDED, THEY CAN SUPPLY A BOOK TOO, BUT YOU WILL HAVE TO SHOP AROUND ALL THE INDIVIDUAL DEALERS THAT HAVE SERVICED THE CAR TO GET IT STAMPED. OH AND BY THE WAY SOME CHARGE A STAMPING FEE!!

I just bought the car so I am not yet used to it and I haven't had the time to examine it throroughly. I'm not sure but I think the wheels are 15' cross-spokes. The car was imported to Colombia, South America. I have a few questions, what do the options cited above entail? Whats is the difference in the Hot climate version, the fuel tank, and what about the stronger electric supply?

570a the stronger electricity supply is because of all the gadgets ie. lecki windows sunroof, obc etc....

823a hot climate version is bigger rad/improved cooling system (by the way if you ever order a replacement rad for you car be sure to mention this, as it is often over looked as very few cars in blighty are hot climate version)

850a add fueltank filling for export means that they put extra fuel in due to the added moving of the vehicle, ie from prod line to compound, compound to transporter etc etc requires a tad more fuel than a car being sold in AG.

Those germans think of everything dont they!!!

A little embarrasing to be asking for this on my first post but Ive just picked up a South African built 325i in New Zealand and the dealers here say they can get no information on it whatsoever. Having said that they are the most unhelpful people youve ever met.
