Anyone had this done? I know the cranks are the bollocks allready but just weighing up the possible benefits for my M52 2.8.

dead money mate, yes lower reciprocating mass, and arguably more streamlined, but it doesn't cut through the oil in the sump so offers no real benifit when compared to the cost of having it done, unless you can DIY it yourself or have a mate who's a manual machinist

When ever i have heard the spec on a top engine, the majority of them have knife edge cranks. What sort of beans you talking Ant to have that done? (approx)

my dad got his crank nife edged but this was because he was aiming for big power

it's not worth it unless your going for big revs

:lol: bexleys aren't up to 'proper' standards tho :D

i'm sure it wouldn't cost much but it's only really worth it if yout going for high revs.
