The 2.7 mod most popular nowadays would be (I suppose) replacing the neccessary parts with new items into a facelift car with a minimum of complications - no machining or vernier pulleys and all that. DIY at home style to make a good as newish engine. Just my tuppence, as they say.

Ok so what would you LIKE to see in the revamped TBMW ???
I know they will cover us at the next Ultimate BMW Show etc but if we express what we might like to see then ...................................it may happen.
Howz about a Zone overseas member spread, a focus on 2002s, plus Hestercombe is coming up in early spring!!
Come on peeps, whats your ideas ????

when I am minted I want one!
More e30 maintenence stuff... like the e36 spruce up in this months, maybe how to fit an OBC would be too in depth, but i am sure the team could think of summat!

I've already had my say about what I'd like to see. Buuuut since you're asking I'd like to see a feature on megasquirt and other stand alone engine management systems. Increased performance and fuel economy! Now that's a bloody mod worth having eh?

Parksie, I understand where you are coming from but rest assured that will not be the norm. Sadly, things have been slightly disrupted by the changeover and so classified ads are thin on the ground. But with the new contact details, we should get the ads flooding in again to make the new marketplace section the best around!
bmw.freeads@kelsey.co.uk is the place to send 'em! Get those E30 details flooding in guys!

Evening one and all. An important thread im sure you'll all agree. Its already been stated that the distribution was the overiding factor to poor mag sales, and this is now being looked at sorted as we speak.
Having been on the zone on and off since 2003 i have seen Huge changes in peoples technical abilities and new challenges that they take on. Its Clear that we have some exceptionally talented people here on this site.
As a populous of untolds of BMW E30 owners on this amazing website, i think that we need more coverage on the E30. After all, people would prefer to read about something that they have experience with or have owned....something to relate to.
Moving on from this, i personally would love to see a section/article dedicated to an individual owner of an e30 or maybe any other model of what their car is what is its history, whats been done, planned conversions, modifications.... you get my drift.
This way you'll have people eager to write in with some pics and a run through of what they've done. It would then be up to the editorial team to choose 1 or two per month.
Engaging with your audience has got to be key, and in my opinion, this could be 1 way of doing it.
Whatever you choose, best of luck to you.
P.S as its christmas could i get a back copy of my Hartge H26?? I never got one when i did the shoot, and i hear all other people who've done a shoot did!!!

As you've got the 2.7 conversion covered how about covering the 2.8 E36 crankshaft conversion too?
I like your idea there Geoff.

So Hannah, whats your preference ?, strange as it may seem, but not all girls appreciate a pearl necklace, some would rather gold !

Not just any Gold, but Argos Gold! All the rage around the Lakes I hear along with exotic tobaccos.
