Anyone bought it?.

Its full of ads and isn't up to much in my opinion.

Not many articles. either.

Very poor show, £4.10 and full of dealer ads at the back.

Hopefully it will be back to full strength soon!

Nearly put it back on the shelf when i saw it was £4.10.... it seems all magazines are silly money now

Honestly I was very disappointed.

I have been buying it for years. And I may not bother in the future.

It was the best BMW mag by a long way.

Is this the 1st issue from the new publisher as I know TBMW has recently been dumped by the original publisher. I never bought that many as I could never easily find it for sale, this and that I remember a few facts to be not quite 100% correct made me not bother with buying it anymore anyway.

Prices of magazines these days are extortionate in my opinion too. They really seemed to have bumped up.

I've bought PBMW too for years now...Personally I have always prefered TBMW, as i find it a better and more informative read...

I haven't even bothered to pick up the latest issue of PBMW from my newsagents as he keeps it for me...don't know if a should at that fookin price...I thought BMWCar was expensive 8O

Totally agree with all this cheap advertising at the back...it's shite and not really BMW related, although the owners of the mag would disagree as they say it brings in revenue..

I was a little disappointed but they are still finding their feet with a new publisher.

I will continue buying it as it's still the best mag by miles, I'm not old as such but PBMW magazine doesn't enthuse me about the scene, all fibergash and no real technical details. (No offence to after-market kitted cars, but its max power territory imo)

Could you ever imagine PBMW featuring a Z1? Well not unless it had a different engine or the likes.

I really did enjoy the feature's that I have read so far (Z1, 318IS and M5 tourer vs 540i tourer) and the adverts are a very minor pimple on a great mag.

Have faith Gents, I'm sure it will pick up.

PBMW may not feature everyones cup of tea, but at least it can be found!

PBMW is dedicated to the modified scene, so if you are into the old standard cars then no its not for you, but it does cover new launches.

TBMW and PBMW are not trying to hit the same market so why do people keep comparing them, stick to what you like and hope that TBMW can improve over the months! :D

it was good to see richie from this site's 335i in tbmw this month 8)

the classifieds at the back are awful.....wasnt much under 9-10 grand and when you compare the cars on sale to the cars the mag featured it seemed a little pointless to have all this expensive metal for sale next to features on e28's and e34's.

still lets give them a chance, they are back from the brink and may still make a good go of it yet.

also ive never had a problem finding it around aberdeen....which is strange seeing as fuzzy cant find it in edinburgh :?

It was mainly Stonehaven harbour, along the end beside the yacht club.
Some pics also taken up where the coast road meets the duel carriageway.

I was a bit wary that there would be a few "arms and legs" added on to the article, if you know what i mean!
Thats cool though, im well chuffed!

£4.10 ISN'T CHEAP BUT it is only 15p more than before so not a reason not to buy. the moaning seems to contradict all the messages of goodwill and affirmations of support when it was threatened with closure. Its the best weve got though you are going to get some issues that appeal more than others. whatever happened to their white seven series bought for about £80?

30 pages of ads from the stealers on poor quality paper.

And full page ads for 'shitty stuff' you would normally see in practical classics. Magic torches/Modern mini ads/Kelsey books.

The best one is the full page ad for a Special offer grinder/sander & Polisher from Kelsey.
