Is there an easy way to pop out the dashboard vents for cleaning? Any hidden clips or fasteners? I've tried prying, but don't want to force it for fear of breaking something...

why dont you use a paintbrush to dust the vents off and have a vacum cleaner nozzel in the other hand to suck up the dust?

Yeah, man! They're right up there at eye level. When the sun hits them the wrong way you can see halfway down the duct. Looks nasty!

Must. Get. Dirt. Out...

at eye level?get some cushions :D

I usually have the blower on all the time anyway, so air never has time to drop dust etc.

seriously though, just get the duster on them and then when you go over with the hoover just take a bit more time and it gets rid of the thick of it.
