Hi Duncan,

Yeah, I remember the old girl. I also remember seeing your foot appearing in the boot when you kicked out the ski hatch panel :)

Now that's a launch! Slower terminal than mine, at ~93/94 but just as quick a time.

How much was taken off this weapon!? 8O

Welcome back Duncan!

Yes that was car was quick and most certainly quicker than my C2 2.7 even with the same gearing. Kicked out some decent BHP is I remember correctly.

So, your buying a Touring are you! I guess you'll remember all that stick you gave me about mine!

Anyway, it's good to see you back.

Quicker than the GUG, quicker than every other E30 I've seen, bar a stripped 3.5.....

What's the crack!? Haha

185 bhp roughly with 1060 kg + not a very heavy Duncan himself who was quite handy behind the wheel.

If you think Oz's car is light this thing was in another league.

Not quite in your league Dave (yes, I do believe you are a driving legend and will continue to stipulate this) but very very good.

My old C2 wasn't particularly fast for a 2.7 - had a stupid M30 AFM in those days. Even Ant's tech1 turd was just as fast.

Thank you for your kind words Sal, it's much appreciated, if you can get me a drive in a race team I'm sure I could return the favour with a pint of Belgians finest lager!

Someone get the pics up!

Yes Jon, I think it was me who is the one who pointed out how bad the car was and took pictures to show everyone. Infact, I showed you myself!

maxfield

lol yup did a little  but there was a inbetween stage where it was still road legal and i managed to do a fair few trackdays with the car and it proved to be very effective as a few E30 m3 owners found out

when it reached its final stage of beng stripped out the idea was to trailor it ect but that proved to be a big hassle and the car ended up being unused and eventually broken for parts and the shell scrapped.

Fancy another trackday car atm but its a big expense and i must finish my kart project before i start anything new :o:
