E30 325 Ball Joints

A freind is having problems, can anyone help

Afternoon all,

I'm replacing the suspension on my 325i and whilst taking the old rusty stuff off I split the protective boot from around the control arm ball joint - is the replaceable and if so where can i get one.. The Dealer told me i have to buy the whole ball joint, and then take the control arm off to replace it.. But there's no way in the world that control arm will come off, we tried for ages - stuck solid!

Any help would be great

Which bit is stuck?

sounds like the control arm

yeah but at the bush, one of the ball joints or the arb linkage.
