Even a normal E34 setup properly can handle extremely well. I've been in a 3.6 with KW Coilovers and the end result is phenominal. Obviously you lose the ride comfort but these things are so well balanced.

My old E34 had uprated springs/shocks and M5 Touring anti-roll bars, with the exception of the very tightest of corners it was better than my E30, oh and less rust prone and it was made to a higher quality too

There's much talk of M5 anti roll bars - but the 25mm fronts and 18mm (I think) rears are the same as the 535i Sport and any other E34 with M Tech suspension. Or you can buy some more expensive Eibach bars. For springs, use almost anything you like. I've found even the cheapo Euro Carparts spring kits okay. I've got a 2 sets of Hartge front Bilsteins left (£130 a pair). they're a lot stiffer than standard shocks but surprisingly don't f*ck the ride. I have a pair in my 7 Series.
A pair of secondhand Sport anti roll bars and some £60 lowering springs will be a start.

I wonder what the reliability would be like ,just look how close those turbo's are to the Ecu & fuse box, even when the heat shields are fitted it's going to be mighty warm under there.

I've seen this done before but with the turbo's plumbed in lower down, still would be a brilliant ride though :D

the ecu's would be in the heashielded ecu enclusure thingy. this will keep the majority of the heat away and the ventilation ducts could be utilised to keep things cooler :D

johnono, what gearbox are they using?

i wanted to do this (without the turbos) with my wifes 525i sport but the cost of a manual box stopped that conversion before it ever started
