It went for £200 - the same amount as I bid but Mr Brown's earlier bid won.

Turbo-Brown that's just greedy of you - you've already got two.

:D Fetch me my crown!

Literally seconds in it, thought I'd raped the guy for £137 to start with, but still more than happy.

Sickening thing is that I'd have to pay at least that much for a useable T25....which is next on the hunting list winkeye

Woo hooo!

It's just turned up! :D

It's got "18 129" cast into the exhaust housing, is that the number we're looking for?

Hadn't quite reckoned on how massive this thing would be!

Gonna give the guy at the metalworkers a prod tomorrow about these flanges and whatnot. Perfect timing it seems as I was driving today and left a big cloud of smoke after I changed gear for some poor sod to drive through :(

Not too sure yet, still researching twin sequential systems at the moment.

Just popped a thread up on E30Tech and have been told this thing is good for 450bhp!

Just because I like a challenge I'm tempted by the TT setup but we'll see. Gotta do some drawings first to see where things might go and how the valving could be arranged and controlled.

Not really in any hurry though to be honest, another long termer I think with some distractions along the way!

Forgive my ignorance, but wouldn't a twin sequential system mean some pretty high temps?
I mean, one turbo under the bonnet can mean some interesting cooling and massive intercooler... aren't you doubling the effort for less than double the reward?
(oh, and leave some turbos for the rest of us you greedy man!) :)

i'd have thought single would be best with a turbo like that.. not many people that run turbos that big on a sequential set up! you'd have to be mad lol, but then you must be mad anyway to even consider it :P bearing that it mind.. go for it lol! and yes stop stealing all ze turbos :D

Yeah under bonnet temps could well be an issue, but nothing insurmountable.

Packaging is likely to be the biggest headache, followed by how the switchover is to be achieved.

Don't think the charge temps will be different to those found in systems running the same boost.

The reason I'm thinking about it is that I wanna see whether it's possible to generate massive torque off the line whilst forging on to a big ultimate power figure.

I'd guess that cars that have been converted from twin sequential setups to use one large turbo would suffer from something of a laggy delivery, and I gather that some of our friends across the pond have switched to smaller turbos to get away from this on the M20.

Anyway, once the setup's complete and tested, I'll sell the current TT setup (if anyone wants it that is) and so the balance of turbos/man will be restored :)
