This is going to sound silly, but without going and jacking up the car
, how do I know if it should have had a 3 piece or 2 piece exhaust system? :oops:

There really is no guarantee...but..most later cat prepared cars should have a 2 piece system, but both systems are interchangeable as a whole system.
