I've used the search and cant find the answers for what im looking for.

Fitted most the OBC tonight, everything as far as the glove box, OBC comes on as it should, stalk cycles through options, lights up as it should

Noticed with the ignition off i can see a very dim _ _ _ _ UHR flashing, read on here i can use a paper clip pushed into the ickle hole to set the time - does it go off after that or is it always dimly lit?

Relay control unit. I have fitted this and plugged the loom in, again have read about some problems on here, should i leave it plugged in, unplug and push the two plugs together or something else?

Temp sensor/Horn loom. I dont have the loom or the horn, understand the horn is only used when the immobiliser code is entered wrong? so not too fussed about that, but i want the temp sensor working. OBC loom i have ends above the glove box with one white square-ish plug ( 2 wires ) and one green flat plug ( 4 wires ). Cant see where these should plug into?

Help :(

Cheers :)

The green flat one is for the part of the loom that has the horn and temp sensor on it IIRC.

Simon posted some instructions up on here a whle ago when i was having trouble will have a quick look for them.

ps mine was dim but with the ignition on it should light up if not you need the 2 bulbs to solder in which i found cant be got from maplins if you need 2 then pm me and i will send you 2

Kedge that link was sound, now i'll know how to work it!! :D

Can someone just clear up the temp/horn loom bit for me?
In the tech help fitting guide is states
Now working from inside the car, attach the 2 looms together behind the glove box. You will see a main earthing point here which holds several brown wires onto the point with a nut, remove the nut and place the brown PBC earthing wire on the earthing point and secure the nut again.

You should now be left with 2 lose wires, a singe green one and a red with white tracer. These wires simply plug into the main control box, there is only one place that each will fit so you shouldnÔš't have any problems there.
As it stands i've not earthed the OBC loom and what are those two loose wires and does anyone have a picture of where in the control box they go?

Thanks for the offer gazza, but the lights are brand new :)

BTTT :D

Wired the temp sensor the the clear plug ( blue and brown wires ) and it worked :D
Still left with the flat plug floating around and i have connected nothing to the main control box ( im assuming this is the white mutliplug that the radio power comes from )

Have i done all i need now?

C'mon, someone must know :D
