if you dont already know EXACTLY what you are doing, then sell the v12 on right now, as you'll just make a royal mess of it! if you DO KNOW EXACTLY what you are doing.... why do you need to ask questions. You obviously need to ask questions, so best bit of advice i would give is dont bother. pay Glenn to do it and pick the car up one week after dropping it off. You'll be chuffed with the result and wont have a fukked e30 afterwards.

Mr Joni Skunk ,if you keep smoking you may well end up believing your £50 750 is an e30 , if your blow isn't strong enough why not get your staffy to p1ss on the carpets to really capture that e30 council chariot aroma !.
Result, you will be happy and still have £6500 to spend on weed .
Big up da iver heath massive

What a defeatest attitude. That sucks. If everyone gave in at the first hurdle and paid someone else to do the job for them, where the hell would that leave us?
Asking questions is a sign of an intelligent person. Someone who is willing to learn and given some ADVICE will pursue their ideas/goals.
I personally have no advice for you mate, other than do it yourself even if it takes you months and months!

sorry dude, no offence, but you just reminded me sooo much of the poor goit who wrote into one of the BMW mags years ago saying "i have an e30 and an engine from an e36 m3. Can you tell me where to start"
I mean...... if that guy didnt know where to START, then how the hell can he have ANY idea where he's going with the conversion. If you've got an idea, then sure, go for it, but if you are in the same position as the e36 m3 engine owner, then its best left well alone.

a v12 conversion is not cheap or easy to do,the right way as you need to a lot about the engine and parts to start with, wiring is a nightmare and you will find it hard to find a 6 speed box.auto is even more headaches if it fits as the box is massive,
even mine is not 100% finish and still needs £2500 plus to finish it thats why even i have had thoughts of selling it
