How can headlight wiper motors be checked if they are properly working when NOT on the car? I'm looking at buying a set off a member who has these but we don't know how to check if the function is correct. I understand the offside is the master and controls the nearside. All tips re. this welcome!

Cheers.

There is no master in terms of controlling each other. One motor controls the washer bottle motor for the jets which sit in the middle of the two lamps.

You can connect power to two of the pins, but cant remember which colours i think its black and red.

Brown to battery negative.
Red to battery positive - motor should run continuously
Black to battery positive - No effect if wipers are parked, but, if having been started by the red wire, wipers should finish their sequence of several wipes and then park.
