Hello Guys,

I'm thinking of changing from my Standard E30 M3 center section, to a Supersprint Center Section (single box)

Has anyone got one of these ?
Did it make much difference as regards sound ? <--- main query.
and Performance ??

Let me know,
as dammed if im spending £200 on one for it to not be any louder.

OH, by the way, I have a Scorpion Rear Box, DTM style. winkeye That made the car a little louder, but not anywhere near as loud as i'd like !!

Didnt really make much difference to the note, but i did notice much better throttle response and pick up. But i think this was due to the fact that my stock system internal baffles had collapsed and the new centre section was far freer flowing. But its a great centre box you really cant fault it, very close to stock sound and much much lighter.

HTH

If it noise your after you'll need to the Supersprint centre "pipes" without the baffled centre box.

This costs £196.83 from the E30Zone shop (+ postage)

It should in theory fit directly to the scorpion IF the scorpion fitted to the standard centre section without any issues.

Thanks

It definately noise i'm after.
BUT boys and Girls, Supersprint no longer make the Center Section without a Center box, They only make the one with the Center Box. !!!!!

I know this because thats the one i wanted, but cant get one. E-mailed Supersprint themselfs, but they no longer produce them (Discontinued)

Therefore, my only option is to buy one with a Box, and if it aint loud enough, get out with the Grinder and welder and make it a "no box" center section

What you think ?? :?:

No one has a 2nd Hand one for sale do they ?????

Oh, and no i cant be stretching my budget to Alpha N etc.....

Check out my website, www.alexallingham.co.uk Rallying is Mighty expensive !! So cant really afford to spend Absolute fortunes on Extras (like aftermarket exhausts) for my Road car.

But YES it is definately Noise i'm after. Just to make the neighbours :x
