Got a new toy turning up soon in the form of a WBO2 system with an EGT sensor which all display on one handy gauge.

Thing is that I've no idea what sort of EGTs I should be seeing.

Will be interesting to hook it all up the the datalogger and see what my AFRs are like after a few thousand miles of driving about.

Probably time I bought some bigger injectors and wound the boost up a bit too, see if I can top 300bhp :D

Interesting, well if I've got to take the rear manifold off anyway I might as well knock up two more adaptors for the temp sensor and have a look-see whether there's a difference over 4, 5 & 6.

theres a myth of 1 and 6 being the leanest, the other belief is that 6 is gonna be the limiting factor due to its location??

i wouldnt imagine much difference ,but i appreciate the science behind it i suppose..

#6 has the least cooling and thus highest temp,

Try to keep it at about 800°C max 850°C
With great challenges comes great engineering.

Guess we're talking about cylinder cooling to No. 6 are we?

Can't think why 1 & 6 would run leaner than the others though. Probably all out the window with my setup anyway but certainly interesting stuff :D

specifically airflow -last in line....gonna be marginal if anything.

#1 has the least oil pressure I heard over the valves and rockers, but thats just at idle
