Try and find a complete matching origional mint set of 'recaro' sport or M3 leathers and you will realise they are harder to come by than you may think

I had a cloth set retrimed in cloth (I dont like leather) and they were great. There was a fad in the custom car scene where they were going for tweed and it looked really good.

If a leather re-trim (good quality) costs upwards of £1000, how much would it be to re-trim in cloth, using the same cloth as the original seat?
I like cotty, prefer cloth sport seats as opposed to the leather and was intrigued to see what the difference may be?

Runners are easy to swop over, swop them over from your old ones, or buy a cheap comfort set, and use those.

leathers arent that expensive it seems!! i just paid Ant 200 notes for a lovely set, albeit, he wanted a quick sale, and a quick sale it was! i've been searching hi and low for a decent interior and i've had to let so many slip by, but now im so glad i got one, and for such a great price too!! Cheers Ant... :thumb:

are you tight or do you not have the money?
Neither. I will be paying £700 for a 535 engine, M3 gearbox + prop, and all the associated gubbins, and an E36 steering rack and associated gubbins. With 225bhp I dont think I'll worry about my backside being caressed by supple cow hide

Stuff is only worth what people are prepared to pay for it, and as I'm not prepared to pay what people are asking for a touring leather interior it doesnt look like I'll be getting one does it :)

I just bought some - pics will be up soon if you're interested in seeing some. They were sold as Hartge M3 Alpina so I'm hoping the answer to your q is yes!
