Isn't a touring a saloon? Sorry, still trying to figure out the correct terms in the UK. It's a friggin' station wagon!
325ix Touring is the official name for it.

Saloon = 4 doors and a boot
Touring = 4 doors and an estate car
Coupe = 2 door saloon (ok theres a lot more to it than that, but in e30 terms its correct enuff)

I just posted pictures in the For Sale Forum.
I really don't see how the ix is much heavier than a regular Touring. Yeah, you have another diff. up front and different suspension, but that is about it. I'd say 50 kilos max.
It drives real nice and like I said, it launches hard. No wheelspin here! I drove a 325i 2-door before and this one would definetly beat it accelerating.
Are ther any ix models in the UK at all? Were they ever imported by BMW?

An iX is 65kg heavier than a non iX.
There are a few in the UK, but not many, we don't really need them, and they tend to be pretty cheap due to the extra weight, fuel consumption, and parts availability.

Thought coupes had to be pillarless (B pillars not A or C?
) or is it the frameless windows.
Whichever or both ... the E30 definitely ain't a real coupe.
