I've just come back from a fairly lengthy drive from London to Manchester and then through Birmingham back to London a day later.
In all the time I spent on the M1/M6 I saw one other E30.
The m'way seems to be full of 'newer' cars, quite a few E36s but definitely no E30s.

Seem to be quite a lot arround driven by old people! Lots look ready for the heap though.
If you think, how many E21's are around? Well not too far down the line the E30 will end up on par with that
.
So many are reaching the end of their life all at the same time now, they have reached that age.

Motorways are full of company car crap...No wonder you don't see many E30's!! Their owners, all keep them for the weekend to play with
More and more are being kept as 2nd cars, to be brought out on 'nice' days...

im starting to see more than i used to around these parts but still mainly only see the same 6-8 local cars, still hoping to come across the 325 touring driver that beat me pre-engine conversion some day
theres some science behind not seeing so many cars on long trips because you dont pay attention to the other side of a motorway and dont actually pass very many cars at 70mph..

im so sexy justin brought me back 5 times

i'm sure i do pass plenty of them on the M3, M25 everyday, but i'm looking where i'm going 99% of the time! U don't really look on the other side of the mway do u though, be honest? The M ways can be dangerous with the amount of uber outside lane hogging helmets these days!

I see plenty of E30's around London. Some very very nice, some not so nice.
There seems to be a growing number of E30 M3's I see regularly on the road aswell.
Seen alot of uber clean Tourings on the motorway in the outside lane giving the rep mobiles a very hard time.

I see a few on my way to work, seen a grey d reg M3 on the M40 some morings but I see about half a dozen from Leamington to Liverpool, theres some bloke who gives me a wave when I see him a few times a week in a mint looking dolphin sport. Beetle owners wave at each other don't they, sometimes I flash fellow e30 drivers, only if they look at me though

I do about a kabillion miles a year mostly on the motorways and I hardly ever see any E30's, or E28's for that matter. When I do, I slow down to admire them (if i'm going quicker), and I have some inexplicablbe urge to let the driver know that I have an E30 too as though I'm embarassed to be driving the "repmobile" which by the way is absolutely perfect for the job. It's hard to say it but I'd far rather be legging up and down the motorways in my Focus than I would the touring, but at the weekends I wouldn't take anything else out other than the Beemer!
Ive already posted on this thread and just want to add to it with what i didnt put last time, I have seen about 15-20 e30's this week and i do see loads every week. Usually though its things like 316i tourers or 318i saloons, dont see many sports or M3's but do see the occasional one or two.

theres times when i see hardly any e30s around my way but i know of at least 20 in my area ( 8 of my m8ts have got them...) there is others that i see runnin about aswell but yea there is days when you hardly see them i think it just depends on your luck as lets face it there getting old and there are a lot of ppl out there that would rather drive somthing newer. but if you look they are out there just as someone else said ppl have there company cars and stuff like that and lets be honest if you had a company car why would you put millage and take your pride and joy out to do work if you have there car to do it?
