Hey,
How many zoners have body rust on their cars in some place or another?
Inner arches?
Outer arches?!
Sunroof panel?
Inside sunroof?
Doors?
Inside boot?
Under carpet?
Scuttle?
Etc etc.
Just wondering how many rust free examples still exist.
Cheers
Paul

depends- are we doing an "tech2 kit off" challenge?
I fear my shed of a touring would look pretty solid

Cheers for responses, most the ones round here i see at the side of the road look rusted to pieces.
I was prompted because i opened my sunroof today as i put the car away for the weekend and saw some specles in the paintwork inside it. Sounds picky but appart from this my car is totally rust free, even under the kit
. I hope it wont set in now
. Bloody rain, roads are flooded up to about half a foot round here on the daily drive, hate driving through it all
 .

a tiny bit on teh rear valence underneath an thats it. both inner wings, scuttle, jacking points are mint, sills are untidy but not a spec of rust on them; both rear arches are mint too and sunroof just needs a lick of paint (like the rest of my turd)

there are solid shells around. My auto has the best jacking points i've seen they are 100% solid, was a solid car till it was written off
my a reg v8 has no major rust on it (slam panel has surface rust were its been chipped), has never been welded and doesnt need welding, it even has the original front and rear skirts. the boot floor is rott free even though its letting water in through the back lights i think

Well my tech2 Sport is rust free - arches, jacking points, all of the underside (I have spent enough time under there over the last few weeks to know it intimately
), rear valance, scuttle panel etc etc etc, are all solid with no signs of rust.

Havent looked under the side pods yet and Im dreading it320Touring wrote:depends- are we doing an "tech2 kit off" challenge?

Sunroof's rotton as anything on mine
did have some on the lower rear left arch till i cleaned it up and red oxide it. Sides that, underside's clean as a whistle and the under bonnet is ok.

Interesting responses, thanks.
Maxfield that rust under the windscreen looks like it was bad. You put a whole new panel in there? Thats a hard area to fix.
