318is exhaust

anyone got any ideas where to get a stainless system for my 91 e30 318is? can't seem to find one anywhere

im in dublin ireland where did you get it made and do they ship?
either or but its getting a bit noisey would it be the baffles?

I had it made locally, but they need the car to make the exhaust to it...

Impossible to say what's causing the noise, mine was still quiet, just the outer casing on the rear box had collapsed, i changed it before it fell off, well it was the original exhaust, and after 14 years & 150K miles you can't complain!

mine was made by http://www.powerflow.uk.com/ I think mine is great! but some people have had probs with them....

Looking on their web site, there are 3 dealers in NI but none listed for Dublin,

Supersprint do one I think - I'd love the same backbox I had on my E36 318is, that was great, lovely sound but not loud...

The supersprint one i believe is no longer available, plus it's very 'Saxo' 100mm tail pipes...

Are not most exoust except the excoust that come with the BMW from the factory stainless steel? I think mine is steel and not iron... Not sure if it's stainless though...

Errr none of the after market exhausts are stainless steel, unless they say so!

Mild steel is made from Iron + other alloys, on that note so is Marstenitic (spelling?) Stainless steel
