Red = chav
Blue = chav
Yellow = chav
Gold = chav
In fact, any colour apart from standard = chav.
(he says with red fronts - on it when I bought it!)

How about camouflaging them with a 'rust/brake dust'-coloured paint mix?

Mine has gold calipers on it which were done before I bought it. To my mind the calipers just look standard brand new, the certainly don't attract attention, unless you look you wouldn't notice them. I actually thought they were new calipers, from when i bought it up until the first time i changed the pads then i noticed that they had been painted gold. they certainly don't look flash, just nice and tidy and subtle.

Black.
Why would you want to draw attention to your calipers? Girls won't be impressed y'know.
If you've got a big tadger, get a gold cod-piece. If you've got big brembos, paint 'em red. Otherwise, keep quiet.

Why is yellow not an option? Would match my suspension then!
Or how about Techno-violet... colour coded wing mirrors, so why not colour coded brake calipers?
I think the red Brembos look cool though
'89 325i - was an SE but not anymore, was bronze-beige metallic (yeuch!) but now techno-violet (thankfully)
