Hi everyone,

I thought I'd share the photos of my car having now been fully repaired.. If you recall My car was hit when i was at work by an 18 tonne lorry, fortunately the guy left his card, so it was nearly written off, however they agreed to spend £4k repairing it. The new part fitted were, ;
wing, bumper, headlamp, indicator, alloy, tyre, binnet slam panel, undertrays, inner wheel arch, and rear bumper.

I really pleased with the results, however take a look below. cheers andrew

Nice job! paint match looks spot on (not eay to do when the other panels have had 8 or 9 years to fade)

Have you had to send you V5 off to get CAT C/D plastered on it or did they just pay you direct for whet the repairs cost you?

That is such a fine looking car. E36's can look sooo good with the right colour and rims. Nice work mate!

the insurance company paid for the repairs... so not classified.

the repair as stated was about 4k give or take, however they still repaired it because the repair escallated as it went on - The new alloy and tyre was nearly £500 and then they replaced the rear bumper which added more... these were not taken into account at the beginning, as the rear bumper came to light after they had repaired the front.

i'm pleased tho!!

go and buy another one quick before they are all wrecked. I honestly believe the values will start to go up again soon, like the 325i sports have.

A nice one now should hold its money for some time to come, however this only applies to the 328i sports.

Excellent job, car looks stunning. Did it get a full re-spray?

The E36 grows on me more every day. After my E30 i want to go for a E36 328i sport, im always browsing E36 coupe.com :)

The light on the switch is on only when the lights are switched off when the engine is running.

HTH.

Nope, the only parts which saw new paint were the front wing, bumper, nose cone and rear bumper.

I generally keep it clean and polished and it stays pretty good to be fair, however I only use it once or twice a week for a few miles each time :(

I work in central london and have to use public transport!
