Not sure yet, the car is back in one piece but it needs more miles and probably a tappett adjustment before it gets any more track time.

I'm tempted, I live in Kent too, about 15-20 miles from Brands! :D

Anyone know how much it costs to get in and what the noise limit is?

The noise could kill it for me at the moment! winkeye

I'm all booked up - i will deffo be there!!!!!

Just don't really know what i'm gonna drive yet!!

325 engine is way past it now - very creamy!!!!!! (although i'm still driving it to work and back everyday!!)
The 2.7 i was gonna have put in has lost compression on cyl 4 and doesn't sound good!!!
I've just scrapped a stripped 318 i could've maybe used - lost the parking space and it was a shitter anyway!!
850CSi may be ready, but it means i've gotta find and get fitted a proper exhast box in the first three days of next week - not exactly easy to come by!!

At this rate i'll be buying another beemer just for that event and then selling it afterwards!!!!

Really running out of time now - hate working for a living!!
327 Touring with bass!!!

I will be going.

Has been suggested that there will be in excess of 35 x E30 M3`s going.

Hopefully there will be a good standard of driving, incident free day and not to many chav`s and ego`s about.

I would expect some really quick cars out so need to keep checking mirrors.

Regards,

Dave

Dunno about any pics...But would like to see some, too, if they are around..

It was a great day...good weather, good driving, good people...

Not so good was the end of my S14 motor
Ran the bearings after the oil level got too low after 40 odd laps...

Still, after discovering that the motor only had 175 horses at the flywheel it was due a rebuild/upgrade...NOw it is a certainty!
Looking forward to a bit of engine development...
probably gonna go with fully lightened and balanced throughout, ported head, 48mm TBs, Carbon box, Alpha N, etc...
May end up with a 2.5 if the current crank/rods are not recoverable.

**Knew I shouldn't have chosen garage 13**

I was there, M3's pretty much dominated the day.

Dave's car had something go wrong with it, I'm sure i will be back soon though.

The orange E30 M3 and the black one with reg ending with "fur" flew round the track..realy really quick cars.

E36 M3 with orange wheels was a real monster.

Demlotcrew also made an appearance and got a few good laps in, very quick car with awesome brakes.

As the track day was in association with Performance BMW Magazine we were there with a snapper and its going to be in the February issue out January 4th.

Alex Elliot was there with two of his great cars the DTM and the GP2 Alpina CSL.

we are hoping to put some pictures up on a website soon a will let you know the link as soon as we know.

thanks to everyone who supported the day , we are going to be organising another event next year, any suggestions on the track location would be greatly appreciated.

I was there too and took loads of pics but accidentally deleted them before downloading them

There were some stunning cars present... both in terms of speed and presentation.. woudl thoroughly recommend it as a good day out to all zoners.. My fav had to be the bright orange Jagermeister 1970's CSL...

Was Demlotcrews car the graphite/black 318iS (?) with Hartge wheels and "different" tail pipe - by the way what make is that tailpipe ?

The tailpipe on Demlots is a Hartge one still I think.

Not suprised his brakes are good at 315mm (or maybe 320)!

Which I was there to see. :(

GP2 Alpina CSL is an awesome beast!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got a few pics - will post them up during the week!!

Yeah, demlots 'zuast is a hartge, and those brakes are now on my shopping list - awesome!!
He took my slot 'cos none of my cars were ready for it :x

If anyone saw the black tourer smoking away after the briefing - yep, that was me!!!! That was just one of the reasons my car wasn't going round the track!!

The Orange E30 M3 was indeed Alex Elliots' ex DTM car....

The Black E30 M3 with "FUR" in the plate was Uwes'...It has a 2.5l motor with carbon airbox/Alpha N, KW suspension, etc...
It was quick, that is also for sure...

Had a few laps in Alexs' Jagermeister CSL...It was only the second time out in his hnads, but was going nicely...Although earplugs would definitely be needed for a race length drive!

Fash....

Are you up for Brands on the 27th of Jan with MotorSport vision? Our Snett idea sort of got blown out after I went back to the 'Ring again. Call me an addict if you will.

Dave.
