Living in London, I use my 325i Cab about twice a week and for local meets like Ace and Lakeside (when it's warmer). I've done about 2,000 or so miles since I bought her.
I don't even use my MTECH 1 Sport. It's with a fellow Zoner for safekeeping and until I have the funds to sort out the rot and a full respray. Once both are sorted, then it's Tin-top for the winter and Soft-top for the summer.

have you checked the propshaft centre bearing mate, could be that has collapsedAlyman wrote:Nope - it's doing my head in. It must be something loose under the car as it happens only at certain revs, or when i'm driving down a cobbled street.
as far as my car is concerned
it takes me to work and back everyday, stays outside, gets driven with care, but its not pampered, it is still driven fairly briskly, but only when the time is right etc........i.e. no ragging it from cold, taking right to the red line, launching hard and changing hard and fast etc when there is no need
other than that it gets swore at and called names when it costs me money and gets treat to a wash and some new bits and peices now and then

I use mine as a daily driver, she gets a weekly spanking and stays outside all year round.
She's been treated to a full going over in the bodywork department to remove the tinworm before her forthcoming respray.
If it's standard modify it then give it some stick
regularly !
Cheers,
Iain T

My Sport Evo only comes out in sunny says and not during winter

And my 325i sport is used for work but also leads a sheltered life and is only used 2 weeks in the month

Use mine every week day for about a 30 mile round trip. Goes most places i do, and at the weekends its used for going to see mates, my brother, or just sitting in the garage keeping dry.

Mine is used pretty much every day. We got it 3 yrs ago, and it was only used occasionally as it was my wifes car and we normally used my company car. Then we got the CRV in March and so the E30 was semi-retired, and SORN'd from when the tax ran out in July until I sold my Mondeo in November, and since Nov it has been my daily driver.
It may not be quick (or economical) but I love the size for parking, and the convenience of the auto 'box.

Mine's used to get to work and back and whatever else.
Since the start of Jan I've SORN'ed it for a while in order to fit suspension and do some other bits and bobs so I'm in my matt-black 957cc Fester for now.

touring does everything, for work carrying all my tools, it goes to the dump alot and scrapes over the speed humps here. I take it everywhere and anywhere
Alpina sits in the garage now, i used it for 6 months or so, deciding how far i'm going with it's resto. A failed clutch slave cylinder forced it's early retirement!
Auto, sits on the drive with odd wheels waiting for the insurance man to value it, then it will be fragged and cubed poor thing

my 318iS has sat in its parking space outside since i moved here, plus it sat for about 6 months at my last place. the diff gave up and was replaced but car still makes strange noises from underneath and the weather aint helping me try to get out there and find out. still at least ive not put any miles on it. my daily driver and now the main car since we sold my missus car is the 325 touring which gets used for everything, does 200 miles a week roughly and not had any problems with it apart fom her indoors who has a huge problem with it being an auto. i wanna sell it and buy another touring but its gotta be a manual next time

Mine goes from North Wales to North Yorkshire every weekend (at no more than 70 cus of all the sodding camera's and I have nine point's on me license, point's do make prizes) and gets used and abused at the weekends for running about. It never misses a beat, although it has just developed a little oil leek down side of engine, fingers crossed it's not the head gasket.

Gone but not forgotten.

mine takes me to work each day(16miles per day) 4 times a week. i might use it at the weekend to go to kings lynn to see my mother, when im not in the e30 im in the astra!(oh the joy)
My 335i rusty turd is my only car.
So it gets used every day for work, shopping and thrashing for fun!
I want to get it on track and 1/4 mile strip this year too.
