320 to a 325

Apart from the engine wat else do i have to change to get the car running i want to keep a 320 diff and gearbox thou for betta pullaway or is that crap how long would it take routhly to change the engine and if i throw some money sum1 would they fancy giving me a hand in bmth area preferably with some experience

am in the same boat here, have a blown bottom end m20 320i and wann replace it with 325i or bigger.
main thing i need to know is thawt the loom and ecu are the same or are there some variations?

You'd need 325 engine/box, can use 320 box I think but why would you want too? Maybe prop? Easiest to get engine/box with the engine wiring loom attached as this just plugs into connector on bulkhead & 325 ECU, I think that's about it, do a search, there's loads of info on the site about it I;m sure!
