Hi , we have a 325i (H Reg) with a water problem. The water level goes down a bit every day with the coolant light comming on. I cant see any sign of water leaking but the oil looks a odd colour and think it may be a head fault ?. I also had the water system pressure tested (engine hot ) but tested ok but i wonder if the leak is from cold as the engine runs lumpy when cold. Please could you help with info of common problems and links etc. Thanks for your help

Hi there,

My 325i touring was using coolant recently, and it turned out to be a head fault.

Have a look here for symptoms, these are pictures which I took last week.

Does the car overheat at all?
