Unknown part in rear seat armrest

I took out the centre armrest in the new back seats during cleaning and there was this black plastic piece, retangular in shape, attached to it. Now I can't figure out where this piece of plastic should go. There doesn't seem to be any obvious attachments on the armrest or the back seat itself.

Does anyone know?

I found this in mine too!

It kinda just covers where the arm-rest fixes to the seat back...

I'll try to clip it back on this evening. These seats, especially the fronts, have been alot more work than I thought to get in proper order.
