I suppose as most have said its 'each to their own' but In my opinion the perfect E30 is one of two things.

Either an M3 with updated wheels, brakes and a few minor engine mods

Or a mint standard Tech 1!!

its left hand drive and we drive on the right side of the car in the UK so car park ticket machines, Dartford crossing booths etc are all on the right of the car.

i agree had two m3,s

tolls are easy, just drop the window and lob your quid in the basket thingy.
