Erel,
My Gtech thingy kept flashing between 240-270bhp @ about 7 to 10psi. Although this is all down to weight input etc I used the same each time and saw aprox 20bhp more each psi it went up.
Now my fueling was pig rich top end as I had no spark control then so I would think you're gonna be well over 250bhp at the crank or 200rwhp.
Either way I'm 100% positive you'll be well over 230 mate!
No matter what you get tho, my money says afterwards you will want MORE!!!

Are you concerned about blowing the head gasket or otherwise exceeding the limits of a standard M20?
The head gasket isn't exactly renowned for it's strength anyway. It'd be interesting to see what the results are of progressively turning the boost up, i.e. when will it go bang? Obviously more interesting if you're paying rather than me.
I reckon you'll get over 230bhp but it's the longevity of that power I'm interested in given that you're otherwise running a standard engine. Have you done any other mods or is it literally just the manifold, turbo, fuelling and pipework?
Best of luck in any event.

id also have reservations about turboing a non turbo engine without uprating anything else regarding how long you have before it goes boooom
hopefully it lasts

yeah, lets not jinx it now!! the block and internals are all standard, the only upgrade is the m/s which controls fuelling and spark, research shows that a stock m20b25 is good for upto 350bhp before it needs strengthening.. if i remember correctly, i think fozzymonster maxed his garrett t3 at 13psi without any issues, oh and ive also got the non stretch head bolts clamping the head down

only joking fingers x 230+ but as they say it's all about the torque

fingers crossed!
magazines always say people are disappointed by the out come of a r/r because people always over estimate.
i have a funny feeling you aint been over estimating !!!!!!!!!!!!!! 230+ easy!
i would love to see a safe 250/260bhp.
(safe in respect of the engine-not how it drives
)
