fuel consumption

Do you guys remember when i said i was doing 80-90 miles for Ã‚£20 of juice? well since having my 42lb injectors fitted, guess what im averaging to Ã‚£20 now? And thats again with more boost than not.

20!!! im doing 140 miles for Ã‚£20 !! fukin wiked innit (well compared to the 90 miles with standard injectors).. cars awesome at the moment, injectors were bought off a zoner who abandoned his turbo project.. im taking it rolling road to check if all this money spent on her has been worth it? im expecting no less than 250BHP.

There are a few sets of big injectors on e30tech, buying from a person and having it sent as a gift is the cheapest way to import them too.

surrey rolling road does power runs fo 30-35 quid and an hour session for mapping for 70 quid which would seembetter value imo

714's plus a higher fuel pressure (4bar?) should allow 7psi or so going on what Blingsta was running.

I still have a rising rate fuel pressure regulator that was left over from the first project plan, the same one Ant had and is now fitted to Toby's beast. It's brand new, never been fitted and still chrome

Good, you don't need that anymore, the injectors you have are over 3 times bigger and could fuel you to over 1.3bar! ( Don't get any ideas! )

Personally I'd wait now till feb or so when the weather picks up a little, save any mishaps

Good plan with the RR, get some facts down on the table, gives you something to work from also....

No, that should be fine, I mean lots of boost on icey, wet, covered in grit roads!

I had some fun momments in mine last xmas, lots of unwanted sideways action and tbh it kinda worried me a little, enough to turn the boost down and wait for some dry weather.

I know

But the roads I use to and from work are really busy these days and going sideways isn't fun when faced with 44ton artics all over the place!

I use the A14 for 44 miles a day, to and from the UK's largest container port and past Ipswich port too, the road is great off peak but during the day it can be a deathtrap.

I guess I'm growing up and making sensible decisions, bollox

why dont you just hitch a ride in a artic.....no danger of sideways in your own car then...save on fuel etc, etc
