another vote for babywipes! soft enough for a babies bum, strong enough to clean that first green shite off one!!!
for leather care, you can get them with aloo vera in!!!!!
seriously, it's the best way of cleaning an interior i've found. also good on seat backs, door shuts, grease stains in the fabric, little fiddly plastic bits down the sides of the seats etc etc etc. some of the ones without moisturiser can also be good for cleaning glass! they even get that silicone shite off!

I always keep in my car (though rarely use) an instant shoe shine sponge for the job,a 30 second wipe over leaves everything looking fab.
And only costs 99p and will last for years

silicon spray!
frickin horrible stuff!!!!
maybe you used the 'wrong' baby wipes matt, most of the ones i've used can leave a streak free satin finish which looks very factory and original and unlike silicon goo it doesn't attract dust and stick it down!
i use the baby wipes then wipe dry with a cloth/duster (removes any chance of streaking) and it looks shweeet! it's more prone to streaking if there is still heavy grime left but wiping dry with a cloth and then recleaning with a wet wipe has always been enough for the worst cars i've owned!

i'd be interested to see a back to back comparison with that stuff and some arse wipes!!! from your decription, it sounds like both do the same job. with the kids trashing the car at an incredible rate, i'll stick to cheapo wipes for now!!! sooooo easy too!
how quick is using that einszett stuff?

The thing that concerns me is that babywipes will not leave any protection on the platic so could lead to its premature fading/cracking?

pretty much most of the commercially available interior cleaners will leave a shine but if u buff it off u can dull off the shine so u get a satin finish. i used some autoglym dashboard cleaner quite sparingly and buffed it off straight away. that was two months ago when i bought the car. all i do now is use a damp leather to wipe across the dash to get the dust off and the dull sheen still remains. not shiny sheen, a clean factory sheen imo

Baby wipes every time. Tescos own brand (the purple ones in the purple packet are the best). Tried a few brands and these are the best. Some are too wet and will leave smears. the Tescos ones are not as wet and leave it all pretty much as factory intended.

a quick wipe over with a soft lint free cloth (an old t-shirt being better than any posh polishing cloth!!!) while it's wet will solve the over-wet problem and physically remove more of the dirt and make a more even satin finish.
that's the dash by the way, not my childrens arses!

Great product with factory original finish. Have tried many different products but nothing comes as close to these two.d6dph wrote:Einsett do a plastic cleaner that is really good,
