325i Exhaust onto 320i

A mate has been offered a new exhaust for a 325i will this fit his 320i?? Any of you guys Know before i get landed with the job of fitting it!!

is your 320i a single or twin pipe system you will have to change the manifold to fit as the 325 down pipes don't match have done this on my gives you the ecuxe to change those naff exhaust gaskets

Some late 320i's were fitted with the 325i single piece manifold from the factory, if yours has one (mine had) then it's a straight swap.

Thanks guys.. :) I think his 320 has twin front pipes so i have been roped into the job of fitting it!!!! :roll:

See the "different exhaust pipe bores for 325" thread.
I just tried to put a 320 back box onto a 325 front box, and the pipe stub that slides together was just a couple of mm different diameter, stopping it going together. The other way around should go together OK, but will be a very loose fit.
