I've never got around to sorting out my central locking, before tonight it would open all the locks with the key but wouldn't lock them i think because my drivers lock is a bit dodgy. It won't lock the drivers door with the key so what i've been doing to lock my car is to press the drivers lock button down and then the passenger side.

Tonight i get back to the car and the dead locks are locked on(never worked before) so the lock buttons won't budge and the drivers and passenger side locks won't unlock with the key ! :x

Got in through the rear hatch and had to climb out the door windows Dukes of hazard style which isn't cool for a lardy arsed 31 year old bloke !

Tonight it's to late to mess with to much, all i've tried so far is disconecting the battery with no joy.

Tomorrow i'm going to try to disconect the central locking ECU and try to bang it to trick it in to thinking theres been a crash so hope fully it will pop the locks open ?

Any other suggestions to try ?

BTW the micro switch by the drivers lock has never been fixed to the lock mechanisim due to the clip being missing, anouther job i've not got around to fixing

Cheers

When Mine did this the only way I got round it was to take the door cards off and disconnect the lock motors. At least you can get in and out then!

The garage fixed mine by sorting the connector in the drivers door/pillar. apparently the pins go so every thing goes tits up! I think they jumped a wire across the faulty pins

Hope that this helps

Andy, it should be pretty easy to remove the doorcard with the door closed, more so in a 4 door/touring as the doors are shorter.
Good luck!
