Thank's for the compliment. I have had the car for 6 years now & still working on it. The interior is all original full leather with sports seats. I will take some photos & try to get them on.
I love the new wheels & colour of your interior. Much better now.

The kit came with the car as did the kidneys colour. The only chrome on the car is the exhaust tail pipes.
Thank's for your coments.

Hi
The hard top is original BMW. It came with the car & i was told by Graham (previous owner) that it took 4 weeks to do & cost about Ԛ£600 to remove the vinal & paint. It was painted about 10 years ago. Hope that answers your questions.

I'v see the hard tops with vinal & they look like the soft top. With the hard top painted the same as the car it gives the car a totaly different look. I have had so many people tell me that it looks so good & ask me if i want to sell it. Sorry but the next owner will be my son or daughter, when i'm 6 foot under, so they tell me.
Back to why i started to write the email. I hope you find someone to paint your top, it will be worth it.
All the best to all

Hi Paul
Nice to hear from you again. Same here, Emma is at Portsmouth collage & works the weekend. She is getting on well & is as tall as me now.
Glad to see you got the car back on the road, all worth it in the end. Hope to see you soon.

I do like the tech-1 kit on the cabbie - I assume the bumpers are pre-facelift but are also colour-coded in some way?

Your drop doesn't 'look' 60/40 from the photos - looks more 40/20? What springs have you got? (I ask because there is another current thread on the 'zone where someone is asking about lowering springs)

Is that calypso red? I used to have one of those - m m m m m lovely colour

The colour is called burganbrot matalic & is an original colour. The bumpers were chromed. Thay were grit blasted to key the paint.
The car had a 60mm drop all round until i got the 10 inch rear wheels. They rubbed the (rolled) arches when i had 4 in the car or pushed it hard so i had to get 40mm springs for the rear. I don't know what they are called. I got them from a local dealer.

I have now put some pics of the interior. Hope you like them, it is all original but i have had some stitching redone. You would never know. They did a very good job.
