I have an ECU performance chip, bought from the E30 Zone. It was originally intended for a 320i 6 cylinder engine project.

Can I use it for a 318iS which I am now working on?

Reference numbers are: M27C2568 MYS88517 9G001V5

Cheers, Tom.

100% sure you can't, number of cylinder and valves won't match up :D

The zone shop is selling the 318is chip now, so all is not lost

Thanks for that Mark,

Looks like I'll have to put in my E30 convertible, and put up with getting my hat blown off!

Cheers, Tom.

Chu 346 ... the hat is to stop my hair getting caught under the rear wheels winkeye

TomTom I've made a note, and might well take you up on the offer when I've got the car running on the standard ECU.

Thanks all.
