right,, as it warms up the idle gets lower and lower, then starts to bounce around steadily... then i found after giving it a few beans it settled and idled constant,, gave it another tap, and went back to before.. not sure if its a one off or not.

anyone have any ideas?? heat related?? watch in order:

Hello mate ....
I checked the old temp sender first and it was within the normal values. But it was the last thing I changed in my attempts at finding the perfect idle. New one sorted it.
If I stopped at lights it would stick at about 1000 ... short blip on the throttle would bring it down. Now it goes down to about 900, thinks about it for about a second and then drops smoothly to about 700. Which is what it's supposed to do.
Have checked the inbox ... they look like a perfect match. Did we discuss how much? I don't remember.
Send me a pm with a figure. Do I need other bits to fit them in a cab ??

mate, thats wrong and a half, lol get rid of that good looking shit running m40

put your bits in my IS and youll have a very nice car indeed! the IS ticked over fine!

ok next plans,, change blue temp sendor, cos it does seem heat related,, ie, gets worse in extreme cold, or extreme heat.

then AFM? maybe thats fucked?

then ICV and BOOT together..

neal, pm me how much you want for the ICV and BOOT matey :)

GDBN will pm now :)
