Just wondering what the difference in suspension is in the 316i touring and the saloon because you seem to need different lowering springs which in the shop, the touring springs are about 100 quid more  .

Any ideas?

Also can you fit a 1800 m40 head onto a 1600 m40 block?

Charlie,

We have been testing a new product to us - KW suspension.

Really really good stuff.

The Touring springs they do are not any more expensive than normal saloon ones.

I just got to put the products on the shop.

Well impressed with KW.

hey hey hey its changed and it kicks ass. had a few bobo's along the way and i forgot to attatch the wires to the afm and got the ball n' chain worried.
although i've sorted it now and its great.
i've fitted a re-profiled cam aswell and i think its made all the differance. the car used to run out of umpf @ about 4500 rpm and now i've just been out and got it up to 5750ish and it was pulling a 'kin dream.

if i can offer any advise it would be change ALL the gaskets and CHECK CHECK and DOUBLE CHECK that you have reconected everything!!! :teehee:

lowering springs always for sale in the parts section and on ebay.
well cheap but the touring are different because of the extra they need to take.

have fun
