there should be an automatic adjuster in betweent the brake shoes. you may want to look into if the metal flange is turning the toothed wheel okay.

oh now this could be an issue.

i think the case for the wire has melted slightly some how- i guess the exhaust?

that is the next thing to check.guess i can pull that single cable from inside the car see if that does it?

whats it like changing the wire if it is that.

P.s sorry i couldn't meet you for that head andy. felt bad for gall.think he was well excited about getting that.

I think you can pull it by the back of the hand brake lever ?

I've never changed one but i think you just order the inner cable and feed it through the plastic outer from the hub end ?

Handbrake cable comes as a complete bowden cable. i.e. inner and outer iirc. Hope that helps. :D

Thats an old pic, the pipe is now extended so it's tucked up behind the head light, the pipe is now plastic and covered in pipe insulation, it's all to help keep the inlet temps down. It's not ideal but i've got some thing planned to cure it.

Theres no AFM because i'm running on a stand alone ECU called Emerald, similar sort of thing to Megasquirt.

This what i'm going to use, it's a twin 60mm TB from some US V8, but you are going to need some thing like Emerald to get the best out of it.

oh dear. that looks complex and exciting!

so your switching sides.cool.

it has to help? shorter air inlets, not running over the engine so should be cooler. all has to be a bonus.

so the Emerald ecu? sounds fancy, is that pricey?
