Hi,
I swapped my 3.91 small case diff's center section from an open one to a limited slip unit.
Since then the speedo stopped working.
I suspect that there is a difference in the toothed wheels that are attached to the center sections which drive the speedo sensor.
Anyone knows how I can get my speedo back?
Thanks,
Avner.

No, that is the only sensor I know of.
Check your connectors and wiring, or mybe replace the sensor.
When did it stop working?

oh it wasnt working when i got it. joy joy.

changed the sensor for what i think is the earlier model (the connectors on the sensor are slightly different) but the sensor seems the same.

unless the sensor dont work? guess i will track it to the top end and check all that works?

thanx for the advice and hope you get your side working.

Internal break in the wire near the diff is the usual problem.
