Iv recently put a set of 17"s on the sport and there is a vibration in the steering wheel at 50/60 mph, wheels are brand new and balanced and just had the tracking done.

What could be causing this?

Oh and theres new discs and pads just on there aswell if that would make any odds?

Everybody seems to get this vibration with the 17" alphina reps. Spigot rings are cheap and cure some.

As above was the problem there before changing the wheels?

Silly question but have the weights fallen off one wheel, i'd guess they would use stick on ones on the inside? Mine fell off today so it shakes like hell from 30mph-45mph and it costs Ԛ£7.50 to balance a wheel round here

you said there brand new and balanced, did they come balanced already? Or did you get them balanced by a Tyre place? Because the vibration you speak of around that 50-60mph sounds like a balancing issue. Have had experience of this with a set of wheels I had, had them balanced and it seemed to cure it.

ye had the same problems wiv my 17s. . . i got it all balanced again n it was all sorted. try getin the spigott rings im sure they would help. . . . .u never know it could be your rims that are faulty. . . .slighlty buckled.

i say give the spigott rings a try. . . all the best.
