Sorry, I meant the round rubber mounts or the alloy mounting arms that bolt to the block.
Sounds like its probably the rubber mounts (although I did snap one of the mounting arms
).
I think there are uprated rubber mounts available, but TBH for a road going car new mounts from the dealer will be fine.

Would be reluctant to buy anything from a firm that spouts such drivel as the claims made for these mounts!!
They do, however list M30 to E30 mounts at the bottom of the page.
Don't think I've ever heard these referred to in the engine swaps forum.
JMC330 is correct in saying that new OE mounts will be perfectly adequate for road use or track days.

Blimey, all that at such a bargain price too! Best get shopping...Our mounts have been proven to increase acceleration, improve cornering speeds and enhance stability under braking. Our uprated mounts control engine movement better in all directions compared to the OE mount (or any later model versions) they also look very attractive under bonnet due to the aluminium top. In addition they still provide a good level of isolation of noise and vibration.
On a more serious note, if you've never replaced your engine mounts, they're gonna be 15 years old by now - not bad for a bit of rubber. New ones'll last another 15...
E30 in need of wiring loom smoke since April '11...
