Hi guys, i have moved over to the dark side :D
I am now the pround owner of a 1994 M reg 3.0 M3.
I was looking at the car on ebay and the owner and i had a bit of banter over the price. To cut a long story short i had a day of friday caught a train down to Wales had alook had a test drive and a cup of coffee and had a blast driving her home.

I have not been able to take any pics today as i have been working on David Holmes new Bmw and Mini dealership in Stockport so she sleeping in the garage for now :D .

The spec is as follows,

1994 M REG
AVUS BLUE/SILVER VADAR SEATS[WHY ARE THEY CALLED THAT]
107 ON THE CLOCK WITH FULL HISTORY.
2 OWNRSFROM NEW.
ON BOARD COMPUTER.
FULLY ALARMED/TRACKER. ETC ETC.

The car is stunning and i am made up i love it to bits, just a few question.

Whats the oil temp for[why]
I find it very hard to use the clutch as the foot rest is so near, then again i was wearing flip flops.
How do i fit the center arm rest/how much are they.
There are two styles of M3 alloys so the owner tells me the ones i have are an option.

Pics to follow

Cheers.

I imagine that you would have paid between Ԛ£5& Ԛ£6200 :) & for that sought of money what can you buy with as many smiles per miles  .

I keep looking in that direction as well 8O

As for more cars then hot dinners just been very unlucky with 2 325i Motorsport cabs.
First 1 hpi,insurance right off.
Second,Gazza told me that it had a new wing at some stage so that put me off.
Kept my Motorsport 6 for a year.
Bought M6,sold Highline as needed mod classic hence M3.
I really did not thing i would feel at home in a E36 as when i went for a test drive i felt like a learner driver, but when i was on the drive home it was like being old friend.
I must say its hard work changing gear as there is some sort of foot rest near the clutch/left hand side so you kinda have to keep your foot more towards the brake side can you see what i mean.
As for everything else its great doors shut nice with a nice klunk and the coupe really looks nice and as for the colour avus blue well what can i say

As regards David Holmes it get handed over this Monday but still load of work to do outside.
I think they where hoping to start selling in 2 weeks time.
Big open day is Feb something to do with new mini.
The place is  so much money has been spent, the ramps are out of this world and i was told that each 1 will bring in 100 thousand a year.
It is really first class my mate had his 525 e34 sport on the ramps last weeks to change his fuel filter.
He was there today in a blue 5 series, nice Guy.

I thought that i would never really like e36s but i always looked twice at the M3 coupes.
I was looking at them before i bought my m6 but bought my m6 :D .
I hope i choose wisely with regards 3.0 vs 3.2 and the vanos issue.
If weather is okay in the morning i will take some snaps then see what you all think.
