abs box above the glovebox

Dose anybody know what the difference is between the abs (ecu) and the different numbers u get. Can I put a 325i abs box in to a 318i of the same year?

Haven't noticed different numbers to be honest, but there's no fundamental difference between a 318 and a 325 ABS system. There is the early system that has an excess voltage relay in the glovebox, which may well be different, but apart from that, if the connector fits, I would expect it to work.
