good(wink) MOT centre in northeast???

i see this as tech help cause i will be asking lots soon....im sure.
and this can be classed as tech help because i think my car will need some help to get through the dreaded MOT.
but if it needs posting in another place just let me know.

ok am in teesside and need an MOT centre thats nice and friendly.
if anyone knows of one i would love to know where.

i used to know one in stockton but times have changed and they are just not that friendly anymore.

No offence, but IMO, If your car cant pass an MOT test it shouldn't be on the road.

Certainly no excuse for any E30 not to pass an MOT with zero advisories! If 5 year old Fords can get through, then any BMW should.

yeah people i know what your saying but.......its nice to have a friendly place that will say "hay that number plate light is out. i know its a wire problem so have a play, i wont fail you and save you coming back cause i know you will do it.

maybe a little welding? but lets face it i wouldnt drive it if it wasnt safe! i like to drive a nice car that i feel comfortable and safe.

but my main worry is emissions. but im changing the engine soon so it doesnt bother me but the MOt guy doesnt know that.....or want to know that.?.

also my handbrake aint working so well on the left side?

with aa max of 9 mots a day you be hard pressed to find any that will be leaniant

point taken, its been an interesting experiment to find out if anyone knows a friend. but lets face it if you start advertising that you have a friend then people will come from far and wide im sure.

MOT is not till next month so now is the time to start fixing the little things that have been bugging me.

thought i may have started a heated debate then? i will get the bmw through, but why are MOTs always in the winter!?! so cold.
