Just bought a E30 316 year 88' vin no: WBAAK620407337693 having engine rpm up and down. How to rectify. Appreciate your help.

check for any vacume leaks in the intake boot or old dry roit vacume hoses. also spray some carb cleaner in your idle control valve.
