is it a bad idea to fit a chip into a engine that has done over 150000 and how much bhp would a chip add .

the gains would depend on the chip? other mods to the engine? and quality/regularity of servicing?

No problem chipping an engine no matter how man miles its done.

ust hope you arn't talking about a glorified resister from ebay for Ԛ£5!
