Gonna make up an alloy gear-knob if I run out of things to do this weekend, anyone reckon my hand will freeze to it?

I used to have one on my old mini cooper - it was a pain on cold winter mornings - sucked the heat right out of me!
Would be nice if someone came up with a heated one
