was unsure about clear indicators on a red car, but having seen some since, i think i'll give them a go.

Hola gringo
Looks lovely. I especially like the alloys. Respect to the 'Grale and respect to you for owning up to a metro

Nearly bought one once!! Test drove a couple and they are awesome!!!
Didn't get one 'cos most insurers wouldn't touch an under 25 on it - but i'm 25 in feb
I will own one at some point in the next few years.
What's the running costs like?

I love the integrale to bits, theyre simply amazing cars. something people who've never driven one will never know. Far far greater than the sum of their parts. theres a lot of snobbery because to people who don't know what theyre talking about its just an old italian hatchback.miniblob wrote:Woah!!!!!! needs a totally different driving style to the m3 to get the most from it. a real drive as you see it type car. go in, let the steering tell you how much grip there is, keep a constant throttle, and when you see the exit, floor it wait for the torque to kick in and sligshot you round. still addictive and brings just as big a smile after nearly 3 years. not really a car for sliding and drifting, but you can really throw it about and take liberties.
it'll take full power (from a rolling start) in 1st, in the rain with only a slight hint of wheelspin.
mine was a daily driver for almost 3 years (untill i got the m3 just over a month ago) and was nothing like the nightmare to own many people would imagine. i had one biggy - melted 3 pistons and destroyed the headgasket. fixed it myself for not a huge amount. they do tend to use a fair amount of oil, and need pricey 10w 60 fully synth stuff. over the years its needed odds and sods, but never failed to start, never failed to complete a journey (other than the melting incident) all the electrics, guages and warning lights work exactly as they should, other than the brakepad warning light, but my m3 has the exact same problem!
it does creak and rattle, harsh sudden bumps make it seem like the dashboard is trying to escape through the windscreen, but it never bothered me. i love the wacky dash, looks more like the cockpit of an aeroplane or a submarine than a car, and you look out ove a pretty spectacular bonnet bluge.

some parts can be hard to find, as so many of the bits are specific to the integrale, but there are several specialists around the country, and quite a few people who can source parts.
loads of other pics in my album, - http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v31/i ... integrale/
me too, its not worth anything, so not worth getting rid of. not sily fast, but definatly quick enough to supriise a few people, and feel very quick when youre in a stripped out tincan oricionally designed for less than 50bhpLoving that Metro
under the bonnet (car used to be blue, was resprayed metallic black recently)

totally undecided about what to do next. think i'll probably end up leaving it as it is and enjoying it for nowVery nice.
Maybe EVO2 chin spoiler or EVO sport front splitter next
the people i got the wing off do a fibreglass front bumper with built in evo2 chin, and sport evo brakeducts which i'm rather tempted by.
still happy with how it looks at the moment for the time being. plus i'm sure i'd knock a splitter off within a week
