Fitting 6 x 9's

hey i have just bought some infinity 6 x 9's and am just wondering what is the easiest way 2 fit them into the parcel shelf. I tried removing the components that were in the parcel shelf and replacing them with the 6 x 9's, but they wont go far enough in as there is a metal seating underneath the shelf. Sorry if its a really easy job i just havn't had time to have a proper look. Thanks Kyle
alrite mate, ye the you would have to cut some of the metal away that sits under the shelf, that way your 6x9s will sit nice on the shelf. i did this with my last e30, wasnt an easy job.
your better off buyin 6x9 rings, they are lyk little adaptors that will raise your 6x9 by an inch, this way the 6x9s will slot right in without hitting any metal underneath the shelf. this is what ive done in my car, look and sound great.
