Is the exhaust on the cabriolet the same as the saloon?
I have been looking around the web for a new exhaust, I don't want a loud one as the kids have got to sit in the back
Timax do a system, but it only lists the saloon or E36 convertible.

Any where I should be looking to get one from?

I'm sure it doesn't make any difference between a saloon / cab.

What engine you got? & what year is it i'll have a look on the ETK later if you wish.

Supersprint is a nice one. Anything else is going to be loud. That means Scorpion, Mongoose, Remus........everything!

Or just stick to your standard system because an exhaust wont give you any more power.

A good standard System makes the best noise!

Sorry, should have given more details! E30Mark, it is a 325 1990.

Where is the best place to get the standard exhaust from?

The front pipes are unique to the convertible, but the front & rear boxes are all the same on the cab/saloon, all according to the ETK.

Check with GSF or ECP i'm sure the boysal(sp?) is the OEM one from BMW

Check price with the dealer too, can get a pleasent surprise sometimes...

The originals are Boysen, the centre box is still available from Euro car prats (Ԛ£65) but not the rear box :(

I got an Eberspacher rear box from German and swedish for Ԛ£80, it sounds good and is very well made unlike the HJS and 'Silent' crap from these places.

Cheers,

The Origional System sounds fantastic.

Bassy and deep at lower Rpms and it Howls are higher Rpms.

SOunds even better when attached to a 6 branch.
